  • Illinois residents may register online, in person at the office of the election authority, at Driver’s license facilities, with deputy registrars who are appointed in each jurisdiction (Grant Township Office has deputy registrars.), or via mail using the Illinois Voter Registration Application available in English and Spanish. November 5, 2024  General Election Results:

The November 5th General Election results were posted on the Lake County Clerk’s Office Election Results Portal on Election Day, November 5th after 7pm. The results for early voting & vote-by-mail was posted shortly after 7pm.

Click on Lake County Clerk’s Voter Power site to confirm your ballot by mail was received.
Per Illinois election law, election results are not final until 14 days after Election Day & are not official until the certification of the election is signed by the County Clerk at 3pm Nov. 22. There may be votes that need to be counted from verified provisional ballots & late-arriving vote-by-mail ballots postmarked no later than Election Day. Read further for more information about election results
